Cosmetics I Will Not Purchase

If you know me then you know I love me some makeup. It's a joy sitting at my vanity and thinking about what Look I planned on creating. A bold lipstick on my lip and a lovely glitter on my lid is my thing. If there's an opportunity for me to purchase any new makeup for my collection I love to go for some of the things that is trending but there are some items and companies I refuse to hand money over too. So let's get right into it.
So we all know that the youngest Jenner, Kylie has launched her cosmetics line back in 2015 and she has been selling out in ridiculous time. She began collaborating with her older sisters of the Kardashian name and created some hits and misses. While everyone has been praising her collab with my favorite Kardashian, Kloe, The same couldn't have been said for Kim's mesh up. The KKW X KYLIE launch is a 4-piece collection featuring a brand new Lip Kit formula — Créme Liquid Lipstick, which is a moisturizing, hydrating, and lightweight formula featuring four nude shades and it will cost you $45! The four shades include: 1. KIMBERLY: True Nude 2. KIM: Peachy Nude 3. KIKI: Pinky Nude and 4. KIMMIE: Deep Nude.  When it comes to me I am a woman of color and I was blessed with chocolate complexion so looking at the shades of Kim Kardashian lip colors in her Kylie kit would indeed make me look like I ate many powder donuts and that is not the business 😂. So this is one beauty product I have to say I'll pass on. Sorry Kim but you are the seekers link. I'll keep my $45 thank you very much.
Let's stay on the Kim Kardashian-West beauty and get into the next product I refuse to purchase. So Tuesday, June 20, Kimberely K-West announced the creation of her very first product in her new beauty like the Crème Contour and Highlight Kit available on her site http://kkwbeauty.com/  The kit contains a soft pink package that contains one dual ended contour stick, one dual ended highlighter stick, one dual ended blending brush and sponge. The kit will be available in four shades Light, Medium, Dark, and Deep Dark and retails at $48 a pop 😳. Now let's get into why I refuse to purchase this product. So in my spare time I love tuning into my favorite  YouTube beauty guru my girl Jackie Aina and like myself she's a woman of color. She recently had the privilege to attend Mrs. West launch at her Los Angles home. She brought home the items and gave her honest review on the products and it wasn't a good one. Sockingly she was not the only individual to give this kit a bad review. Many believed that the price is absurd for the little product and flimsy brush and sponge applicator you get. I typically like to form my own opinion on certain things but for this I'll take the word of my favorite beauty guru and keep my coins in my purse. Thank you girl for the save 😂.
My last item I plan on never purchasing is actually a whole makeup brand and it comes from Jefree Star and his cosmetics line. So Jefree is suppose to be this LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 Spokesmen who wants every one to love themselves regardless of sexual orientation, and what other people think of them.  Yet he has been in deep water lately of being caught saying some pretty racist comments to Hispanic and woman of color. My money will never support a liar and racist man like that. It doesn't matter that he said 10 years ago or 1 minute ago those mast words left his mouth and I can never respect a person like that. Here's are some of the nasty filth that left his lips.

"I win by having diamond rims, and you win by being a poor Mexican."

"Shut up, you fucking n***** bitch!"
"You stupid ape."
He asks someone "Will you beat that n***** up for me?"
He screams at a woman walking away from him down the street "She's a fucking n*****! You're a n*****, you fucking ugly-ass bitch! Fuck you, ho!"
"She's a fat, ugly bitch, you stupid cunt!"
"Bitch, I'll kill you like Anna Nicole, you fucking skank bitch."
✌🏾 Jefree Star and what you stand for.

To Waist Train or Not to Waist Train That is The Question       I'm sure you or someone you know has heard or has/is participating in the new fad that's going around, waist training. If you have been following the Kardashian sisters at one time or another you would have come across a picture or two of them posing in many colorful Cinchers/trainers around their waist. Given their bodies the illusion of having the infamous Coke bottle frame or hourglass figure. Contouring the waist has been around for many centuries dating all the way back from the 16th century. At that point women, unlike today had to endure the pain of what they called a corset. Many of these corset in the beginning of time were made out of very uncomfortable material such as iron, whalebone, and even wood. Today, if you don't want to commit to a corset which can be very uncomfortable and pricey, ranging from less than $100 bucks for the simple costume corsets to an extreme $1000+ for an expert cou
